Janich & Klass nominates microform as their DpuScan System Partner
Janich & Klass Computertechnik GmbH, announces the conclusion of a system partnership with microform GmbH from Waiblingen / Germany. The scanner manufacturer microform will offer the scan software DpuScan in packages with their own products, but also as a stand-alone product. An according Agreement was signed during the DMS EXPO 2008 in Cologne.

Both partners, so they agreed, will mutually support each other in selling DpuScan and the microform scanner bundles. Dietmar Janich, Managing Director of Janich & Klass: "microform is a worldwide supplier of high-volume document scanners and archive components. We are glad to have gained this team of specialists for partnership and have thus noticeably widened the availability of our scan software."

The system partnership that was entered during the DMS EXPO grants microform worldwide sales rights for the bundled solution Hardware/Software. The enterprise may offer DpuScan also independent of their hardware as a software-only product, except for those countries where already sales partnerships exist with different companies. On the other hand, Janich & Klass will assist the sales efforts of their new system partner by suitable marketing measures, support, training, and technical services.

microform GmbH was founded in 1994 in order to preserve the knowhow of Agfa in the ranges microfilm and scanner technology, and to make further developments. Since then, microform produces and sells high-volume document scanners and archive components. With their Best Image Quality concept, microform made it their business to offer complete and tailor-made individual capture solutions and to constantly improve and develop it, always interacting with the clients and users. Also, microform is one of the few experiences specialists who still are active in the range of microfilm and who can supply state-of-the-art units.

About Janich & Klass:
Janich & Klass Computertechnik GmbH was founded in 1981 as a Spin-Off of the Wuppertal university and is active as a Ltd. since 1985. Since 1987, J&K is active in the range of document processing. There are three important fields of activity: Fundamental research for image enhancement, scanner technology for scanner producers, and flexible scan software with interfaces to most different DMS. DpuScan is the universal program that was developed by J&K for scanning (color, gray, bitonal, all at one time), with indexing, image optimizing, bar code reading, OCR, and so on.
