Janich & Klass has developed a new interface that connectes the Document Management and Archive System windream to the scan software DpuScan. With this new interface, users of DpuScan can now expand their imaging solution to an integrated software package.

In order to connect the DpuScan functions for scanning and imaging as efficiently as possible to the specific windream DMS functions, Janich & Klass Computertechnik GmbH have integrated a so-called Wizard in their imaging system. This assistant allows the users to connect windream to DpuScan, via so-called scan scenarios that can individually be configured. So, for example, you can arrange for immediate export of the digitized documents to windream. The user can freely define scan scenarios and save them under any name, they can later be selected from a list and be executed repeatedly.

After archiving, all of windream's specific DMS functions are available to the user, and he can administer and process the digitized documents.

windream, since 2003 worldwide patent-protected, is said to be the technologically leading solution for capture, administration and archiving of electronic document, be in office ranges, or in an SAP environment. windream was the first DMS, worldwide, to be fully integrated into an operating system.

Initially, in 1998, a single-workstation-version was developed, followed in 2003 by a network-able multi-station version. Today, windream is available in its actual Version 3.6.
