microform GmbH fully merged into Janich & Klass Computertechnik GmbH in Wuppertal. The former company site of microform in Waiblingen remains active, as a sales- and servíce base for Janich & Klass Computertechnik GmbH. Already in 2008, the shareholders of Janich & Klass took over the majority of microform. Since then, and still today, we developed and produce the scanner series XINO S700 for microform.

The two former managing directors of microform GmbH, Wolfgang Urban and Andreas Klinke, hold leading positions in Janich & Klass Computertechnik GmbH: Wolfgang Urban became Vice President international Sales, while Andreas Klinke is Vice President National Sales. Also, the top management of Janich & Klass will be changed: Ulrich Klass retires from being a managing director on 31/08/2015. Still, however, he continues as the head of the J&K embedded department. Starting from 01/09/2015, Dietmar Janich will be the President of Janich & Klass Computertechnik GmbH.

Now, Janich & Klass Computertechnik GmbH consists of three departments:

• J&K embedded develops and produces computer boards and entire units for industrial controls,

• J&K Imaging is responsible for development and support of the capture software DpuScan, and

• J&K XINO serves for development, production, and service for high end scanners, and sells the microfilm developing maschine FP 505.

Thanks to the fusion, we become one common team and can serve our customers even better now. For this reason, we will keep both sites alive, in Wuppertal and Waiblingen. Also, we make use of the synergies in marketing scanners and software, and in our departments.
