ISA96-Boards

Future-securing control technique for machines has been the goal on developing the ISA96 Computer System. Basing on our long years of cooperation with industrial users, a series of 19" computers and components was generated for industrial applications, at the same time compatible to the PC-world.

Using the ISA96 19" system enables the user to integrate a PC in standard compositions. Janich & Klass offer a wide range of units and boards. The scope reaches from individual boards to complete industrial PC's in 19" sub-racks. The wide choice of 19" mechanics available in the market can thus be individually used.

A special constructional feature of the ISA96 boards series is the module conception, securing flexibility and service-ease. At the CPU boards and some peripheral boards, the drivers for the serial interfaces are conceptioned as modules. This enables the user to configure the interfaces to his own desires from the standard scope, maybe as simple RS232C interface, 20mA interface, or any other interface. The module conception facilitates modifications and expansions, at any later time. Besides mere visualization tasks, the PC more and more takes over also control tasks. For these, a whole pallet of in/output boards is available. They also form the basis for customer-specific components, which can guarantee optimum solutions. These local in/output boards are completed by remote bus systems like e.g. InterBus or Profibus.

At all our solution proposals, the customer and his application are our focus. Optimum performance, easy maintenance and future-secure design are the guiding rule of our activities.
